30 Questions – 30th Anniversary – $30 per Person
Join Household Goods for some virtual trivia fun, and help celebrate our 30th anniversary.
QUESTION: How can you have fun while supporting the mission of Household Goods this fall?
ANSWER: Join us for our virtual 30-30-30 Trivia Night fundraiser!
Please join Household Goods and Trivia Master Tom Rutledge for some friendly competition, trivia fun, and prizes. Sign up as an individual (we’ll arrange a team for you) or put together your own team of up to 8.
Space is limited, so sign up today!
Test and flex your knowledge on a hodgepodge of topics that may include science, history, geography, current events, sports, food, TV, movies, music & maybe even a few Household Goods facts, too. (Did you know that we’re celebrating our 30th in 2020?)
Prizes for everyone! All participants will receive 2 Household Goods coasters, made from recycled wood and created and donated by a generous Household Goods volunteer. There will also be prizes for the top teams. Thanks to those who have donated prizes for the event: 80 Thoreau, Concord; Trader Joe’s, Acton; and Joy Street Gifts, Concord.
Trivia will be hosted on Zoom, and teams will separate into their own private Zoom rooms to deliberate each question. Don’t worry! We’ll help with the back-end work.
What you need to do: Either sign up individually ($30 per person) and let us know if you will be playing for a specific team or if you would like Household Goods to add you to an existing team. You can also register for a full team team of up to 8 participants ($240) at once.
The more, the merrier, so please invite your friends, family, co-workers to register and play along.
- Advance registration is required
- Event URL will be emailed to all registrants day of at 6:30 pm
About our Trivia Master: Like the face mask business and the sourdough starter business, the trivia master business has been booming since the pandemic hit, so it’s entirely possible you have already played in one of Tom’s online contests. They’re notable for their custom-made questions, answers with lots of Greek and cyrillic characters, and the trivia master’s petty, almost vindictive use of the mute button. Tom is married to Household Goods’ former board president and current board member Mimi Deck Rutledge.
About Household Goods: Household Goods provides a full range of furniture and household items, free of charge, to help people in need make a home. Learn more at HouseholdGoods.org.
Thanks to our partnership with our Trivia Master, all event proceeds support Household Goods. Please consider making an extra donation during checkout to help even more people make a home.
