With over 200 supporters present, Household Goods, Inc. celebrated its 25th year of service to the community with a celebration at the Westford Regency on September 26th. The event featured bluegrass music by Four Bridges, a presentation by Senator Jamie Eldridge to Household Goods Founders Ira and Barbara Smith,, and a video tribute to the Smiths. The Smiths six children and nine of their fourteen grandchildren were in attendance. A gala fundraiser is also planned for this Saturday, October 3rd at the Concord Country Club.
These two events were made possible by generous community sponsors including lead sponsors Janice and John Battle, Denise and Eric Haartz, and Sudbury Design Group.
The evening was organized by volunteers Jehan Wren (Event Chair), Faye Allen and Kathy Egan. They did a beautiful job and a wonderful time was had by all!
